Scholarships

Your university may have a fund to support students in study and research abroad.  A limited amount of support is available from RIT-K.  Those wishing to apply for a scholarship shall also need to provide:

  • Financial Statement (if self-employed or family members living with you)
  • 250-500-word essay on why scholarship funds are needed

Scholarship application deadline: April 19, 2019

** Late Applications will be given a lower level of consideration.

Scholarships offered to US citizens and permanent residents

The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) invests in promising students with financial need who wish to study abroad. Potential applicants who meet our eligibility requirements may participate on any international education program that meets their academic objectives.

Boren Scholarships, an initiative of the National Security Education Program, provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests, and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Who can apply: Any U.S. citizen or permanent resident enrolled as an undergraduate in an accredited U.S. institution may apply.

IIE Generation Study Abroad Travel Grants offers $2000 to SPSCC students who are studying abroad for academic purposes. This grant will apply to all current SPSCC and WCCCSA programs.
